3. Occupation Orders: In cases where it is necessary, an ‘Occupation Order’ can be applied for, asking the court to decide who can and cannot occupy the family home. Like Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders usually have a duration of 6 to 12 months, if found guilty. Additionally, the legal system offers protection for victims through various legal remedies.
